Compton House

Compton House, in Hampshire, is a residential care home providing support to people with a learning disability and autistic people. It cares for up to a small number of people, with 11 living there at the time of the inspection. The CQC rated it Good overall, having found that earlier breaches around staff recruitment checks and governance had been resolved.

Inspectors found people were kept safe, with risks well managed and medicines handled properly. Staff were kind, well trained and supported, and care was tailored to individual needs and preferences. Relatives spoken to were confident in the care provided and said the management team was approachable and responsive to concerns.
