Upminster Nursing Home

This residential nursing home accommodates up to 37 people across four accessible floors in a purpose-built building. Communal areas including lounges and a dining space are located on the ground floor, with each bedroom equipped with its own toilet and handwash basin. At the time of inspection, 31 residents were living at the service.

Residents felt safe within the home, supported by systems to assess and manage risks effectively. Staff demonstrated sound understanding of adult safeguarding procedures, ensuring potential or actual abuse incidents were appropriately reported and handled. The service maintained adequate staffing levels to meet residents' needs, with robust recruitment processes in place to ensure quality appointments.
