Ravenscourt Nursing Home

This nursing home provides personal and nursing care to older people, including many living with dementia, with capacity for 70 residents. At the time of inspection, 60 people were using the service. The home has implemented robust visiting arrangements in line with current guidance, including a designated visiting area accessible from the garden. Relatives unable to visit in person are encouraged to maintain contact electronically. Visitors complete risk assessments and undergo temperature checks upon arrival, with similar measures in place for staff.

The provider has made appropriate arrangements for Covid-19 testing of people and staff, following government guidance on regular testing, and has implemented safety measures for those who test positive. Adequate supplies of Personal Protective Equipment are maintained, with staff trained in its use and observed wearing it appropriately. Cleaning schedules are in place with daily management checks to ensure completion, and regular infection control audits are carried out at the service.
