Tynedale provides residential care and support for people with learning disabilities or autistic spectrum disorder, accommodating up to four residents. At the time of inspection, three people were living in the service.

The registered manager had identified, assessed and mitigated all COVID-19 related risks to people, staff and visitors, with risk assessments and policies in place to help keep people safe. Staff received training in the use of PPE and had access to protective equipment throughout the home, with additional pandemic-related training provided by the provider on correct PPE usage and infection prevention and control procedures.
