Turning Point - Russell Terrace

Turning Point – Russell Terrace provides accommodation and personal care for up to 6 people with learning disabilities or autistic spectrum disorder. At inspection, 4 people were using the service. Staff supported people to have maximum choice and control over their lives, using least restrictive practices. People received their medicines as prescribed and had their individual needs and preferences assessed to ensure safe care. There were enough staff who knew people well and encouraged them to live the lives they wanted. The provider promoted a person-centred culture where people achieved good outcomes, with access to specialist support including Positive Behaviour Support practitioners and a clinical team comprising medical, pharmacy and psychology professionals to manage risks effectively.
