Arden House

Arden House is a residential care home in Warwickshire providing personal care for up to 27 people. The CQC rated the service Requires Improvement overall, having found breaches relating to consent and to governance. Mental capacity assessments were not always decision specific, care plans were not always updated when needs changed, and monitoring of things like hydration and nutrition was inconsistent, with audits not always catching these gaps.

Inspectors found a positive, well-supported staff team who understood safeguarding and managed medicines safely, with a clean, well-maintained environment. People and relatives spoke highly of the caring staff and registered manager, describing good relationships, involvement and a range of activities on offer.
