Trewan House Care Home

Trewan House Care Home accommodates up to 44 older people and those living with dementia in a single adapted building. At inspection, 42 residents were living there.

Inspectors identified concerns about medicines management. People did not always receive prescribed medicines at the correct times, with some administered too close together, creating overdose risks. The registered manager implemented immediate improvements during the inspection. Additionally, risks to residents' health, safety and wellbeing were not consistently managed safely, as staff lacked consistent access to information about identified risks and how to support people appropriately.
