Tixover House

Tixover House is a nursing home in Rutland caring for up to 48 people, including those living with dementia and physical disabilities. The CQC rated it outstanding overall, with particular praise for how caring and well-led the service is. Inspectors found staff exceptionally kind and attentive, with care that was person-centred, dignified and focused on promoting independence and choice.

Effective, responsive and safe care were all rated good. The CQC found proactive risk management, safe medicines handling and strong safeguarding practice. Leaders were described as visible and committed, with robust governance and a culture of continuous improvement, and people and relatives spoke warmly of feeling safe, involved and well cared for.
