The Yachtsman Care Home

The Yachtsman Care Home provides personal care for up to 32 older people and those living with dementia across three floors served by a passenger lift. At inspection, 25 residents were living at the home, which features two lounges and dining rooms plus a quieter lounge space. Medicines are stored, managed and administered as prescribed, and people are protected from abuse and harm through documented risk assessments that guide staff practice. Infection prevention and control procedures are followed, with visitors welcomed while asked to observe safety measures. The service operates with flexible staffing levels and safe recruitment practices to meet residents' needs.
