The White House Nursing Home

The White House Nursing Home provides accommodation and nursing care for up to 36 people, including those living with dementia or with a physical disability. The CQC assessment followed concerns about staffing, medicines and safeguarding, but inspectors found no evidence people had been placed at risk. Staff were kind, attentive and respectful, medicines were managed safely, and there were enough trained staff to meet people's needs.

Inspectors rated the home Good overall. Relatives described a calm, well organised home with friendly staff and good activities, and felt confident raising any concerns. Quality assurance systems, including regular audits and consultation with people and families, supported effective, well led management.
