The White House Nursing Home

The White House Nursing Home provides personal and nursing care to up to 36 people aged 65 and over, including those living with dementia. At inspection there were 31 people using the service. Relatives spoke positively about the care provided, sharing examples of how staff had supported their family members. Inspectors observed kind and caring interactions between staff and people throughout the home.

Staff expressed confidence in the registered manager and the improvements introduced since their arrival. Electronic care records enabled staff to easily review and update people's needs in a timely manner. Detailed assessments ensured people received appropriate support, with care plans accurately reflecting individual needs and involving other healthcare professionals where necessary. Relatives reported being regularly involved in care reviews and kept informed of any changes. Risks to people had been comprehensively assessed and mitigated to maintain their safety.
