Deneside Court

Deneside Court provides accommodation and personal care for up to 40 people, including those with a learning disability or autism, mental health conditions, dementia, and physical disabilities. The CQC rated the home good overall, following an assessment prompted by safeguarding concerns. Staffing levels were sufficient, medicines were managed safely, and the home was clean, though some areas needed redecoration.

Inspectors found weaknesses in leadership: audits were not comprehensive, lessons from safeguarding incidents were not always clear, and staff supervision and appraisals were inconsistent. Most relatives and residents spoke positively about kind, attentive staff, though a few relatives raised concerns about inconsistent care from certain staff members.
