Hebburn Manor

Hebburn Manor is a residential home providing nursing care to older people, including those living with dementia, people with nursing needs and younger adults. The CQC rated the service Good overall. Previous concerns about governance and record-keeping had been resolved, with better guidance in place to help staff meet people's needs safely and consistently.

Inspectors found staff kind, attentive and well trained, with enough of them on duty to support people properly. Residents and relatives praised the food, activities and general atmosphere. Some minor improvements were still needed around engagement in one lounge area and involving people with dementia in meal choices.
