The White House Care Home

The White House Care Home provides residential care for up to 29 older people across two floors of an adapted building. At inspection, the home was supporting 20 residents with varying health and care needs, including some living with dementia.

During the inspection period, the home had implemented measures to support safe contact between residents and their families. While visits were restricted to essential purposes such as health professional appointments and end-of-life care, the home arranged video calls for families unable to visit in person. A specially built visiting pod had been prepared to enable safe family visits once restrictions allowed.
