Wellburn House

Wellburn House is a residential care home supporting adults of all ages living with dementia, mental health conditions or physical disabilities. The CQC found the service was performing well overall. Risks were assessed and monitored, medicines were managed safely, staffing levels were appropriate, and recruitment processes helped keep people safe from abuse.

Inspectors found staff supported people to make informed choices and worked well with other professionals to maintain health and wellbeing. Activities were varied and tailored to interests, and leaders were described as visible and supportive. People and relatives spoke positively, saying staff were kind, attentive and gave them time to talk.
