Lorne House

Lorne House provides residential care to 11 people, with capacity for up to 13. The service supports people with a learning disability and autistic people, focusing on maximizing choice, control and independence in their daily lives. Staff encourage residents to pursue their interests and support them to be as independent as possible, using the least restrictive approaches. Residents have choice over their living environments and can personalize their rooms.

The home delivers kind and compassionate care, with staff protecting and respecting people's privacy and dignity. Staff understand and respond to individual needs, promoting what people can do and ensuring they have fulfilling and meaningful everyday lives. The service is organized to support these practices, with policies and systems designed to put people's wellbeing and autonomy at the center of care delivery.
