The Wharf Care Centre

The Wharf Care Centre accommodates up to 67 people, currently 49 residents, providing nursing and personal care to older and younger people, including those living with dementia, physical disabilities, and mental health needs.

Staff conducted thorough risk assessments and understood their responsibilities for residents' safety and wellbeing. When shifts were unplanned or unexpectedly left vacant, the manager and provider worked to maintain adequate staffing to ensure continuity of care. The service demonstrated commitment to promoting residents' safety through clear communication of risks and appropriate staff training.
