The Villa

The Villa is a nursing home providing personal care to 32 residents, some living with dementia, in an adapted building with capacity for up to 38 people.

Inspectors found significant safety concerns. The provider had not completed remedial fire safety work identified in their own fire risk assessment, and window restrictors were not tamper-proof, placing residents at risk. Quality assurance checks failed to identify these areas needing improvement. While accident and incident records were maintained and reviewed, the provider had not taken appropriate action following at least one serious resident incident.
