About The Vicarage

The Vicarage is a residential care home in Gloucestershire offering short-term respite breaks for adults with learning and/or physical disabilities. Details of the CQC's most recent findings are set out below.

The Vicarage provides short-term respite breaks for up to five adults with learning and/or physical disabilities. On the day of inspection, three people were staying at the home. The service offers person-centred support designed to help people live meaningful lives with control, choice, and independence.

People felt safe at The Vicarage, and their relatives reported having no safety concerns. Staff were stable and familiar to residents, and team members felt suitably trained and supported in their roles. They demonstrated awareness of people's personal risks and understood how to escalate concerns appropriately.

Most people's needs were assessed before using the service to ensure their requirements could be met.
