Crofton Springs

Crofton Springs, in Gloucestershire, is a care home providing personal care to older people and people living with dementia. At the time of the assessment it was supporting 22 people. The CQC rated the home Good overall, finding enough well-trained staff, safe recruitment and good management of infection risks and medicines.

People and relatives spoke positively about feeling safe, respected and involved in decisions, with a person-centred approach that encouraged independence. However, inspectors found risks were not always managed effectively, and care plans were sometimes incomplete, lacking personal detail and consistent reviews after incidents. The registered manager responded promptly to this feedback and began making improvements.
