The Vale Care Home

The Vale Care Home is a residential care home providing personal and nursing care for up to 40 people aged 65 and over. At the time of inspection, 26 people were being supported across two floors with communal areas, bedrooms and bathrooms on each level.

The home has improved its systems to reduce the risk of harm to people. Most residents or their representatives know how to raise concerns and with whom. The impact of people's health conditions, skin breakdown and harm has been reduced through improved practices implemented since the last inspection. These improvements need to be embedded and sustained by the provider going forward.
