Barnfield Manor Care Home

Barnfield Manor Care Home provides personal and nursing care to up to 39 people, including adults of all ages and those living with dementia. The service operates from a purpose-built building across two floors with several communal areas and an accessible garden with outdoor seating. At the time of inspection, 15 people were using the service.

Inspectors identified concerns with medicines management. Recording of administered medicines was inconsistent, and the ordering system was ineffective, with still-prescribed medicines being unnecessarily disposed of, creating costly waste.
