The Sycamores

The Sycamores provides accommodation and nursing or personal care for up to 56 older people across two floors. At inspection, 49 people were using the service.

Staff understood their safeguarding responsibilities and people told inspectors they felt safe. Risk assessments were in place and up to date, though records did not always clearly indicate how staff should use hoist slings appropriately. The service had sufficient staffing levels to meet people's needs, with safe recruitment practices in place.

Medicines were managed safely and infection prevention and control measures were established at the home.
