The Stables Residential Care Home provides care and accommodation for older adults, some living with dementia, with a small number of residents at the time of assessment. The CQC rated the home Good overall, finding staff kind, respectful and consistent, with people supported to make choices, stay independent and take part in activities they enjoyed. Relatives spoke warmly of the standard of care and staff's responsiveness.
Inspectors found people were kept safe and staff worked well with other healthcare professionals to support wellbeing. However, medicines auditing processes needed improvement, and the provider needed to strengthen oversight and make quality monitoring more consistent.
