The Russets

The Russets is a residential care home providing personal and nursing care to 87 people aged 65 and over across six houses. One house offers nursing care, while five houses support older people living with dementia. The premises are purpose-built with single storey accommodation, ensuite bathrooms and access to a secure garden. The service currently supports one house as a temporary discharge facility for the local community hospital.

People, relatives and visiting professionals reported positively on standards of care. Residents said staff were very helpful and looking after them well. Relatives praised staff for their patience and caring approach, with one family member commenting "I can think of no better place. Excellent staff and care at all times, day and night." Visiting professionals confirmed that staff knew people well and provided personalised care.
