Felix House

Felix House provides accommodation and personal care for up to 11 people with mental health conditions, with a focus on helping residents regain independent living skills rather than providing long-term residential care. At the time of inspection, 10 people were living there.

The home has maintained residents' contact with family and friends throughout the pandemic, offering in-house visits alongside window visits and telephone or video calls. All visits are pre-booked, and visitors must test negative for COVID-19, have their temperature checked, wash their hands, and wear a face mask. The service maintains plentiful supplies of personal protective equipment. Families have been informed of visitor policies and procedures. The registered manager assesses potential new residents through video calls, with no overnight trial stays currently being organised.
