The Royal Elms Care Home

The Royal Elms provides personal and nursing care to up to 26 people aged 65 and over in an adapted two-storey building. The home features two communal lounges, a large dining room, and an outside decked area, with access via stairwell or passenger lift. At the time of inspection, 19 people were living there.

The home maintains good standards of cleanliness and has made improvements to décor and PPE storage. Staff demonstrate awareness of current pandemic guidance and use appropriate PPE when providing personal care. Staffing levels are sufficient, with safe recruitment practices in place. The registered manager has ensured staff receive training on safeguarding.
