About Parkview Care Home

Parkview Care Home is a residential care home in Manchester offering care to older people. Further details on the service, including the CQC's most recent findings, are set out below.

Parkview Care Home provides nursing care to older people across two floors with lift access, accommodating up to 24 residents in 21 single bedrooms and three rooms that can house two people. The home includes communal spaces such as a lounge, dining room, conservatory, and bathrooms. At inspection, 17 people were living at the home.

Staff demonstrated strong infection prevention practices, wearing appropriate personal protective equipment and using dedicated spaces to change uniforms at the start and end of shifts. The premises were clean, hygienic and well ventilated, with enhanced cleaning schedules implemented including regular sanitisation of high-touch surfaces like door handles and light switches throughout the day. The home carried out regular audits to maintain infection control standards and participated in the government testing scheme, which helped identify and respond to outbreaks quickly.
