The Rowans

The Rowans provides personal care and support for up to 12 people with learning disabilities or autistic spectrum disorder, across a main house and a smaller building known as The Lodge. Inspectors found the service continues to be rated Good overall, reflecting consistent, well-managed care.

People told the CQC they felt safe, well supported and treated with dignity, and that staff were kind and understood their needs without imposing unnecessary restrictions. Medicines were well managed, the home was kept clean, and people had good access to external health services and were involved in planning their own care.
