SENSE - 56 Monks Dyke Road

56 Monks Dyke Road is a Sense-run care home supporting people with a learning disability and autistic people, including those who are non-verbal or use limited speech. The CQC rated the service Good overall, following an assessment focused on safety, effectiveness, caring and responsiveness.

Inspectors found people were protected by effective safeguarding and risk management, with enough skilled staff recruited safely. Care was person centred, supporting independence and choice, and decisions respected the Mental Capacity Act. Families spoke highly of communication and staff commitment, and had confidence in the management team.
