The Rosary Nursing Home

The Rosary Nursing Home provides personal and nursing care for up to 102 residents across two buildings, each with two floors. One building cares for people requiring nursing support, while the other specializes in dementia care. At inspection, 67 people were using the service, with only the ground floor of the dementia unit operational.

Staff demonstrated strong knowledge of the people they support and how to keep them safe. One resident commented positively, "You do not have to worry about me. It is all lovely. Staff are smiley." However, care records and risk assessments did not always reflect this level of understanding. The provider acknowledged this gap prior to inspection and had begun implementing plans to improve documentation. Relatives expressed mixed views regarding their family members' safety at the home.
