Lavender Court

Lavender Court is a care home providing accommodation and nursing care for up to 85 people, including older people and those living with dementia. Around 76 people were living there across four units when the CQC carried out an assessment prompted by concerns about medicines, safeguarding and risk management.

Inspectors found no evidence of significant harm and rated the home Good overall. Some people and relatives raised concerns about staffing levels and waiting times for personal care, and gaps were found in staff recruitment checks, but the registered manager acted quickly to address these. Medicines were managed safely, the home was clean, and quality assurance systems were in place to drive ongoing improvement.
