Heathcotes (Salford) provides accommodation and personal care for up to seven people living with learning disabilities and autism. The home had implemented robust infection prevention and control measures, including updated policies and procedures, visible signage throughout the premises, and temperature checks and lateral flow device tests for all visitors. Cleaning regimes had been enhanced with more frequent cleaning of high touch surfaces, and donning and doffing stations with personal protective equipment were available throughout the building.

Staff had received training in infection prevention and control and PPE procedures, and social distancing was actively promoted within communal spaces.
