Could the NHS fund The Progress Project's fees?
NHS Continuing Healthcare could cover 100% of care costs with no means test.
The Progress Project provides personal care to 17 people with mental health needs, with capacity for up to 18 residents. People feel safe at the home, protected from abuse and harm by well-trained staff who know how to respond to concerns. Risks to residents have been identified and assessed with clear guidance for staff on how to provide appropriate support. Staffing levels are sufficient to meet people's needs, with staff available when required. New employees are recruited safely and medicines are managed well. The home maintains high standards of cleanliness and encourages residents to participate in housekeeping tasks, promoting their independence and wellbeing.
