Abi House is a care home providing accommodation, nursing and personal care to people with a learning disability and autistic people. The CQC rated the service Good overall, having looked into concerns about maintaining family contact but finding no evidence people were at risk of harm as a result.

Inspectors found staff were trained, kind and knowledgeable, and support was well organised and tailored to individual needs. Families felt confident in the care provided and people said they felt safe and enjoyed life there. The CQC noted communication tools such as Makaton could be used more widely to further support people.
