Could the NHS fund Abi House's fees?
NHS Continuing Healthcare could cover 100% of care costs with no means test.
Abi House is a residential care home in Worthing near the seafront that accommodates up to 7 people with learning disabilities and/or autism. At the time of inspection, 6 people were living there. The two-storey building includes communal spaces such as a kitchen, dining area, and lounge where residents can spend time together.
The home supports people to have choice, independence, and access to their local community. Staff work to ensure residents receive respectful, dignified care that promotes equality and enables them to participate in activities and services most people take for granted, such as visiting local shops and the seafront nearby.
