The Phoenix Centre

The Phoenix Centre, run by Blackpool Borough Council, provides mental health crisis care and support services across Blackpool. The residential mental health service offers short stays of one night to two weeks for people experiencing mental health crises, alongside domiciliary care supporting people in their own homes with personal care and independence goals. The centre also manages supported living schemes in community houses and a Shared Lives Service placing individuals with trained carers throughout the area. All services aim to provide rehabilitation to help people move toward accommodation of their choice. Inspectors found the services continue to provide good quality care, with evidence supporting the previous Good rating.
