Elderflower House Nursing and Residential Care Home

Elderflower House provides nursing care for up to 37 people across two floors, with communal lounge and dining areas. The service supports some residents living with dementia. At inspection, 29 people were using the service.

Staff knew residents well and understood their responsibilities to protect people from harm and abuse, speaking to them reassuringly and respecting their privacy and dignity. However, risks to people were not always assessed and managed effectively. The home analysed accidents, incidents and environmental risks to identify themes and trends, and supported residents to have maximum choice and control of their lives.
