The Old Farm House Residential Home

The Old Farmhouse provides residential care for up to 26 older people, some with dementia and physical disabilities. At the time of inspection, 24 people were living at the service. The home is arranged over two floors with most bedrooms having ensuite facilities, and is fully accessible for those with mobility problems, with a passenger lift providing access to the first floor. A registered manager is in post at the home.

During inspection, inspectors found that while staff demonstrated care and compassion towards residents, there were inconsistencies in how people's needs were being met. The service requires improvement across several areas to ensure people consistently receive safe, effective care and support that meets their individual requirements.
