The Oaks Care Home

Inspectors found kind, personalised care from a stable staff team who knew people well, supported communication and choice, and worked closely with health professionals.

Medicines management and infection control were effective, and previous concerns about record keeping and governance had improved.

A remaining concern was that the owner's oversight relied heavily on their own personal involvement, which limited time for auditing and delegation, though this had not affected the quality of care people received. Families and residents spoke positively about the stability and warmth of support, and felt confident staff would respond to any concerns raised.
