Comfort House accommodates up to 42 people with residential care needs, including those living with dementia. At inspection, 27 people were using the service. The home maintains a welcoming and friendly atmosphere with good staff morale. People and relatives praised the care and kindness shown by staff members. The environment is clean and tidy with effective infection control procedures in place.

Medicines are generally managed safely, though a recommendation was made regarding storage practices. Care records and risk assessments are regularly reviewed to ensure people's needs continue to be met. Some areas of the service require updating, with plans in place for improvements over the next six months.
