The Oaks Care Home

The Oaks Care Home provides accommodation, personal and nursing care for up to 61 people, including those with physical disabilities, dementia, autism or learning disabilities, and those needing end of life care. At the time of the assessment, 32 people lived at the home.

The CQC previously found breaches relating to dignity, safeguarding, safety, premises and leadership, and the service had been in Special Measures. Inspectors found significant improvements following leadership changes, with safer risk management, enough competent staff, kind and respectful interactions, and personalised care planning. The service is no longer rated inadequate or in Special Measures, and is now rated Good overall.
