The Moors Care Centre

The Moors Care Centre is a residential nursing home providing support and accommodation to adults of all ages. The CQC rated the service Good overall, finding that risks were well managed, staff understood safeguarding, medicines were handled safely and the building was clean and well-maintained. Staff were well trained and supported, and people's health and nutritional needs were met with a proactive approach to wellbeing.

Inspectors found people were treated with kindness, dignity and respect, with choices and independence encouraged. Staff and residents spoke positively about the registered manager and organisation of the home. A previous breach relating to governance had been resolved, with improvements now firmly in place.
