The Moors Care Centre

The Moors Care Centre is a residential facility caring for 57 older people and younger adults, including those living with dementia. The service operates across four units spread over three floors, each with en-suite bedrooms and adapted facilities. One unit provides residential care, two units specialise in dementia care, and one provides nursing care for up to 70 people total.

Inspectors identified concerns with how the facility documented people's care. Records and documentation were not written in a person-centred way and lacked sufficient relevant detail. Care plans and risk assessments were not consistently in place, limiting the service's ability to provide individualised, effective care.
