Belmont House Care Home

This large purpose-built care home across five separate units provides personal and nursing care to older people and younger adults, including those living with dementia. At inspection, 69 people were using the service. Staff care records did not always provide sufficient guidance for managing known needs or behaviours, and documentation of care provided and associated risks was inconsistent. While staffing levels had improved with reduced agency use, residents felt more staff were needed to provide adequate support and run activities. The registered manager was actively recruiting to address these gaps, with an ongoing recommendation to review staffing levels and deployment across the service.
