All essential visitors were required to wear appropriate personal protective equipment, provide NHS Track and Trace information, show negative COVID-19 test results, and have their temperature checked before entering. Staff ensured proper hand hygiene practices were followed by all visitors.

People were actively supported to maintain contact with their relatives, with visitors able to attend for one-to-one face-to-face visits at the home.
