Bilton Hall Nursing Home

This care home accommodates up to 60 people requiring nursing or personal care, including those living with dementia and people over and under 65 years old. At inspection, 44 people were in residence. The building features three separate wings, one specialising in dementia care.

Inspectors found that staff were not reliably trained to support residents' required needs, meaning people did not receive safe care and support. While risk assessments were in place and medication was administered safely, documentation for topical medicines was not always completed. Infection prevention and control practices had improved. Staff recruitment processes were safe and the home learned from incidents when they occurred. Residents were afforded choice and control over their care, and activities were available.
