The Manse Residential Care Home

The Manse Residential Care Home provides personal care to older people, some of whom live with dementia, and supported 30 people at the time of the assessment. The CQC rated the service Good overall, noting significant improvement since the previous inspection, when breaches around person-centred care, dignity, safety, staffing and governance were identified.

Inspectors found these breaches had been resolved. Risks were now well managed, staffing levels and training had increased, medicines were handled safely, and privacy and dignity were consistently respected. People described feeling safe and happy, staff were kind and attentive, and the service was well led, with an open culture and effective systems for learning and improvement.
