Oatleigh Care Ltd provides personal care and support for up to 42 people across two floors of a larger building shared with other services. At inspection, 37 people were living at the home. Staff knew how to support residents safely and kept them protected from identified risks. Appropriate recruitment checks took place before staff started work, and staff were deployed effectively to meet people's needs promptly. The home had systems in place to monitor, investigate and learn from incidents and accidents, with procedures to reduce infection risks and good standards of hygiene practices in place. Medicines were managed and administered safely, and people's needs and risks were properly assessed when they moved into the home.
