The service has implemented effective systems to manage infection control. Visitor temperatures are checked on arrival, and they complete a screening questionnaire before entering. Staff wear appropriate personal protective equipment and maintain government-recommended social distancing protocols throughout the facility. The service has been effectively zoned to separate the designated COVID-19 discharge area, complete with separate entrances and exits to prevent cross-contamination. A separate outdoor area has been created to allow people in the designated setting safe access to fresh air.
