The Manor Nursing and Residential Care

The Manor provides nursing and residential care for older people, including those living with dementia, in a single adapted building. It supports up to 22 people, with 19 residents at the time of inspection. Staff demonstrated knowledge of safeguarding procedures and proper recruitment checks were in place before new employees started work. People received their medicines as prescribed, and staff followed infection control guidance with access to appropriate protective equipment.

Care plans assessed individual needs and risks, with regular reviews to ensure support remained appropriate. Staff understood their roles and felt well trained to meet residents' needs. People confirmed they were well cared for and their choices were respected throughout their time at the service.
