The Manor House Thurloxton

The Manor House Thurloxton provides personal care and accommodation for up to five older people in a large family home set within its own grounds at the edge of a rural village. The service is suited to people with minimal care needs, with staffing and equipment reflecting this focus. At inspection, five people were living at the home, with two receiving assistance with personal care while others lived as independently as possible with staff support.

Concerns had been raised prior to the inspection regarding pandemic risk management, with the provider not following relevant Government guidance. This was a matter that required attention to ensure appropriate safeguarding measures were in place.
