Little Oaks Residential Care Home

Little Oaks is a residential care home providing personal care for up to eight people with learning disabilities, operated across two neighbouring houses. Currently, five people live in the main house and three in the other house.

The home was established before modern care standards were formalised, but staff have worked to embed good practice principles into daily life. Inspectors observed that people receive support tailored to their individual needs, with staff showing genuine care and commitment. The service has made efforts to develop activities and routines that promote independence and wellbeing, despite the limitations of the existing physical environment. Staff members engage positively with the people they support, creating a homely atmosphere where residents appear comfortable and valued.
